California Governor Implements Statewide Lock-Down to Slow Virus Spread

California’s population of 40 million residents are officially on lock-down. Governor Gavin Newsom made the announcement last Thursday in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the state. Residents may still leave their homes for food and medical care, as well as for outdoor physical activity. However, they are being asked to remain home otherwise.
