China Announces $500 Billion Economic Stimulus Package

The economic fallout from the coronavirus continues to plague China, with the government pledging a new stimulus package designed to create nine million jobs. This year marks the first time in decades that China has not set a growth goal for its economy, and it’s GDP shrank in the first quarter – for the first time since 1976.
