Data from China Shows 80% of COVID-19 Cases are Mild

Epidemiologists caution that it will take many months to understand the full extent of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and its impact on human life, but early data from China suggests more than 80 percent of cases are mild. About 14 percent of cases are severe and approximately 5 percent are critical. The data also suggests that more than 90 percent of children with coronavirus are asymptomatic.
