Dow Surges After Unexpected Job Gains

Unemployment numbers for May were shocking – but not in the way many imagined. Employers added jobs, for an unexpected 13.3 percent gain in employment. The markets skyrocketed on the positive news, which defied most expert predictions. Current economic conditions remain in uncharted territory, but more Americans being rehired last month is a positive predictor of recovery.
