Dozens of Economists Say the U.S. is in a Recession

As the recent situation continues to severely restrict economic activity, 45 economists say the U.S. is in a recession. The experts also say current poor economic conditions are likely to last through at least the first half of 2020. With economic growth indicators lagging, the labor market struggling and the stock market falling sharply, it’s difficult to predict how long the recession will last.
