Duke University Economist Says the Recession Will End in 2020

Respected Economist Campbell Harvey, known for his perfect record at calling recessions, says he believes the current recession will end by December 2020. Harvey, a professor of finance at Duke University, says a vaccine will reset equilibrium in the markets and end the downturn. Unlike many recessions, this one is traced to a specific biological event, and Harvey reasons that it will be ended by another biological event – the discovery of a vaccine.
