The COVID-19 pandemic has caused economic distress unlike anything we have seen since the Great Depression, and many have been left wondering if we are on the road to recovery yet. Many economists say no – shrinking retail sales, shockingly low inflation and millions of new jobless claims indicate that we have not yet hit rock bottom, though we are likely close to a more stabile economic outlook as businesses begin to reopen throughout May.
