For the ninth week in a row, millions of Americans filed for first-rime jobless benefits, indicating the economy is still in a state of struggle. Layoffs and furloughs continue to plague the labor market, with 38.6 million workers filing for unemployment since mid-March. Experts say most jobs will return as the economy continues to reopen, though some industries may be permanently damaged.
