Mortgage Rates Have Fallen to a Record Low Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

For the second time in two months, mortgage rates have dipped to new lows in a struggling housing market routed by COVID-19. After the 30-year-fixed-rate dropped to 3.29% in March, it set records once again in April when it dropped to 3.23%. Still, these historic rates will only be offered to borrowers with excellent credit.
