NYC Hotels and Dorm Rooms to Become Coronavirus Hospitals

The Army has announced it will turn empty New York City hotels and dorm rooms into specialized hospitals for treating the city’s growing number of coronavirus patients. Many hotels have been near-empty since the outbreak began, and university students have been sent home as classes moved completely online. The virus is spreading quickly, and New Yorkers have been asked to stay at home as much as possible.
