President Asks Anyone Leaving NYC to Self-Quarantine for 14 Days

President Trump called New York City a “hot spot” for the spread of coronavirus during a news conference yesterday and asked anyone leaving the region to self-quarantine for 14 days.

The State of New York reported 25,665 confirmed cases of coronavirus yesterday, with 14,904 in New York City alone. With cases across the U.S. totaling about 46,000, this means New York accounts for more than half of all cases.
