Recovering Italian Town Gives Hope that Lockdown Measures Work

In Northern Italy, Codogno was the town first hit by COVID-19 in mid-February. The Italian government immediately locked down Codogno and nearby towns in a desperate attempt to stop the virus in its tracks. Now, even as novel coronavirus spreads through Italy, cases in Codogno are down, giving the rest of the world hope that lockdown measures will work.
