Trump Signs Largest Domestic Economic Aid Package in U.S. History

Late Friday, President Trump signed the CARES Act into law. Short for Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, it is the largest emergency aid package in American history. Designed to add cash flow to a struggling economy, the $2 trillion measure provides stimulus checks direct to taxpayers, while also adding tax relief measures for businesses.
