United States Reports 100 Coronavirus Deaths Today; Total Now Over 500

The COVID-19 pandemic claimed 100 lives in the United States just today. This is the first time since the outbreak began that U.S. fatalities reached triple digits in a single day. This puts total U.S. deaths at more than 500, with 41,000 infected with the novel coronavirus. Deaths have occurred in 34 of 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
