Why America’s Economic Recovery May Look Like the ‘Nike Swoosh’

The U.S. economy experienced considerable pain in the first quarter of the year and the second quarter will likely be worse. Experts have begun predicting what the eventual comeback will look like, and some are calling it the “Nike Swoosh” recovery in reference to what the numbers will look like on a graph. Essentially, these experts believe it will take a bit longer to bottom out, but followed by a long period of steady, gradual recovery.
